“The year's theme for Fire Prevention Week is 'Smoke Alarms, Make them work for YOU!',”

When was the last time you checked your smoke alarm? You should test your smoke alarm at least every 6 months! A good time to remember to do check them is when you change your clocks in the Fall and Spring.

It’s also recommended that if your smoke alarm is older than 10 years old, you should replace it with a new one!
