This cold weather didn’t stop us—it inspired us! 💪❄️ This week, the Cobb Island Volunteer Fire Department put our skills to the test with Ice Rescue Training! 🧊🚤

Our dedicated members suited up and got in the icy waters to brush up on critical techniques and ensure we’re ready to respond to emergencies, no matter the temperature. 🌡️🔥 From getting acclimated to the suits to practicing life-saving maneuvers, this training is all about keeping our community safe in all conditions.

❗ Safety Reminder: No ice is safe ice! 🛑 No matter the thickness, it’s dangerous to venture out on frozen water. Please stay off the ice and let us handle any emergencies. Prevention is the key to staying safe!
