On Saturday June 15, 2013 Cobb Island Boat 6, Charles County Dive Boat 13, St. Marys Boat 5, and Charles County Sheriffs Boat met in the Neale Sound at Bennett Road for the Cobb Island Yacht Club's Summer Kickoff. Chief 13 Skeeter Porter spoke to the crowd on water safety and narrated as the boats demonstrated a person overboard water rescue. CCSO Boat used a rope throw bag and demonstrated pulling the victim out of the water over the side of the boat. St. Marys Boat 5 demonstrated the use of their winch and stokes basket to pull the victim out of the water.

We would like to thank the Charles County Dive Rescue, Seventh District Volunteer Fire Department, and the Charles County Sheriffs Office for their support of this event.

Units: MSU 6, Boat 6
